About

This video shows the processes involved in creating our last project, a donor wall. Installed on a 33.54 foot (10.2 m) wall are 225 + porcelain, handmade tiles.

We created 3 different concepts to choose out from. Our client then decided to proceed with ‘Concept 1’ - Sacred Geometry Design.

About the concept:

The tiles are laid on the wall to represent the formation of a path. The stones (tiles) start out loosely organized and as the path progresses down the wall it becomes more defined and tightly laid. The transformation of the path represents the involvement of Neighborhood House in the lives of its clients. The support, direction, and guidance it provides helps to define a clearer/easier to follow path to sustainability.

Five differing sizes and designs represent the five levels of donation. Each design depicts a different geometric structure with associated symbolism of Sacred Geometry- The flower of life, Icosahedron, Sri Yantra, Star Tetrahedron and Metatron Cube.

*Sacred Geometry is a term used to describe patterns, shapes and forms that are part of the makeup of all living things that regularly occur in nature. It is a system of universal design in which the energy of creation organizes itself into form.

Vesele studio seeks to refine the goals of its designs and focus purposeful energy into the promotion of happiness, applying slow design principles; which pays attention to and explores the experience of encountering others and the effects we have on people and our planet through the gift of positive intention. We enjoyed putting all of our energy into the project for this amazing and beautiful organization that helps so many! We hope you enjoy seeing our process!
